Introduction to John Monash Foundation CEO

Dr Peter Binks succeeded Mr Ken Crompton as CEO of the Foundation on September 1 2009. Peter was a Rhodes Scholar, and has pursued a corporate career for the last 20 years. In taking up the position, Peter paid tribute to the outstanding work of Ken Crompton and the Board. He also outlined his priorities:

“The Monash Scholarships are already established as Australia’s own leadership scholarships, and Monash Scholars are making their mark in many fields. Our immediate challenge is to secure the Foundation’s funding for the next decade. At the same time, the Board and I are working to further raise the profile of the Scholarships, and strengthen their leadership proposition for Australia’s future”
