Dr Peter Binks, CEO is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Steven Skala AO to the Foundation’s Board.
Mr Skala is Vice Chairman, Australia and New Zealand, of Deutsche Bank AG. He has held or currently holds numerous board positions, including Chairman of Hexima Limited and a Director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and is a former director of The Australian Ballet. Beyond banking and commerce, Steven is Vice President of the Board of the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, a Director of the Centre for Independent Studies and is a Member of the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Steven practiced law in Brisbane, London, and in Melbourne. Steven is a graduate in arts and law from the University of Queensland and has a Bachelor of Civil Law from Oxford University. In the 2010 Australia Day Honours List, Steven was awarded an AO for his services to the arts.
