Major supporter of the John Monash Foundation, the Commonwealth Bank Foundation have extended their support to the Scholarships. The Commonwealth Bank Foundation have been involved with the Scholarships since their inception, and their continued support is confirmation of both the importance of the Scholarships, and the alignment of the Foundation's vision with that of these leading organisations.
The Commonwealth Bank Foundation has been a supporter of the John Monash Foundation since 2003. The latest Agreement provides for its fourth directly funded Scholar. The Commonwealth Bank Foundation has long held a strong commitment to providing meaningful educational opportunities for Australians and their support of the John Monash Scholarships is an important part of this continued effort. Recent John Monash Scholars include Sylvia Lockyer (2010) and Anna Rakoczy (2011) who are active in indigenous issues, and Jodi Gardner (2011) who is undertaking work in consumer finance law to assist financial understanding and support to these groups.
